12 Days of Vice: Garrison Brothers Texas Bourbon

By  |  0 Comments

When you’ve been around as long as Garrison Brothers (home of the first and oldest legal whiskey distillery in Texas in the town of Hye), you realize they have had a lot of time on their hands to perfect the art of making bourbon. And it comes as no surprise that their Garrison Brothers Texas Bourbon ($90; Buy Here) was recently rated American Micro Whisky of the Year. The passion for the craft is evident in the finish product: made from Texas Panhandle yellow corn, premium winter wheat and barley from the Pacific Northwest and Canada, this bourbon won’t be your everyday drinker but you’ll wish it was.
