12 Days of Travel: Franklin Barbecue

By  |  0 Comments

We’ll start off by saying get here early. And not just an hour early, but rather, the first thing you do in the morning will be to get up, put on clothes, and get in line. That’s how popular Franklin Barbecue has become from it’s humble beginnings in 2009. Aaron Franklin and his wife hit BBQ gold when they opened this spot in a small parking lot in Austin, TX, and only sell their delicious brisket from 11am until they run out of grub. People come from far and wide to taste a sample of what Bon Appetit called the best BBQ joint in America. So just remember: get there early.
